United Nations' International Day of Peace on Sunday, 21 September

Archbishop Stephen Cottrell, the Archbishop of York has joined Cardinal Vincent Nichols, and other Church leaders in calling for an end to the war in Gaza and the release of all hostages and prisoners after Israel launched its major ground offensive in Gaza City.

Bishop Michael has said I am sure that here in Church of England Birmingham there will be widespread support for the call for an end to the violence and suffering in Gaza and I invite you to join me and thousands of other Christians in praying together on Sunday, designated as the United Nations' International Day of Peace.
