Menopause is a subject  much discussed in the media and on social platforms in our age but how often do we reflect on it in faith terms? The subject is rarely preached from the pulpit or even discussed in a group setting, even though women over 40 make up much of the energy and leadership of the Church of England today. Moseley Parish and Oversight Area is proud to host Jayne Manfredi who will come to talk about her book Waking the Women: Faith, Menopause and Meaning of Midlife at St Anne's Church, Moseley. Jayne reclaims many of the typical physical and emotional effects women experience during the menopause and sets these alongside Biblical stories. 

The event is open to both women and men seeking to understand this experience more fully. We welcome anyone interested to attend, whether you consider yourself to be a person of faith or not.
